Our Production Process for Finished Concepts

If you already have a finished concept, design sketch, or reference garment, our collaboration follows these steps:

Step 1: Estimated Price Indication

  • Documentation: We create an estimated price indication. The more information you provide, such as product sketches, reference garments, material specifications, and desired volumes, the more accurate the estimate will be.

  • Material and Complexity: We provide a price range for pattern making and product development, as these depend on the complexity of the design and the information provided.

Step 2: Material Sourcing and Partners

  • Standard Materials: We handle the sourcing of standard components like interlinings, buttons, and zippers.

  • Specific Sourcing: For specialized materials, we can either charge an hourly fee for sourcing or share our network of sustainable textile and material suppliers.

  • Finishing: We collaborate with selected local partners for services such as printing, embroidery, and dyeing.

Step 3: Sampling and Quotation

  • First Sample: Once the price indication is approved, we create a first sample. You provide feedback and requests to ensure we achieve the highest possible quality.

  • Evaluation: The sample is sent to you, or you are welcome to visit us to evaluate it together.

  • Adjustments: Based on the evaluation, we make necessary adjustments. we can either update the first sample or create a second sample if required.

  • Final Quotation: After the sample is approved, we update the pricing and present a final quotation based on our price scale.

Step 4: Production Start

  • Approval: Upon approval, we create a complete Tech Pack and BOM (Bill of Materials).

  • Delivery Plan: Lead times after an approved sample are usually within 2 months, depending on the scale of production. A clear timeline for material delivery is crucial, as it dictates the actual production start.

  • Production Sample: XV Production requires a final production sample (we can use the approved sample from development, but an additional sample is created if you require a copy at your office).

  • Quality Control: We perform continuous quality control during production to ensure every garment meets the same high standard as the approved sample.

  • Delivery: The garments are measured, carefully packed in boxes, and shipped directly to you.
